When I was in high school, my mom and I took a trip Back East to look at potential colleges. At one, somewhere deep in the woods of Connecticut, I saw a painting by the school’s art professor that sticks with me to this day.

It’s a little rough, sometimes, dragging myself out of bed to a 9am ballet class, but it’s always worth the effort. Dance supports my creativity when I get back to the studio, promoting neuroplasticity, a sense of wonder, and ongoing joy.

June felt like the right moment to release a new batch of hand-dyed bandanas on the website. These are 26" x 26" cotton bandanas—large enough to wear a dozen ways, but still light, easy, and practical in hot weather. They’re the kind of piece you can knot at the neck or wrist, tie in your hair, wrap onto a bag, or keep close at hand all season.
